Admissions

The admission process runs through the year preceding the new session and is completed before the start of classes, preferably by 15th October of the year of admission. Families are encouraged to apply early, as offers are made on a rolling basis as documentation is completed.

Minimum age is calculated as on 31st October of the year of admission.

Exceptions, where genuinely warranted, are reviewed individually by the admissions committee.

First preference is extended to siblings of current students and staff, remaining seats are offered subject to availability.

Please ensure the following are complete and readily available for a smooth application process.

• Birth certificate — issued by the Registrar of Births & Deaths, Srinagar Municipal Corporation, or any other competent authority.
• Child's Aadhaar card for verification.
• Photographs — recent passport-size photos of the child and each parent.
• Parental identification proof — Aadhaar card of both parents.
• Residential proof — Aadhaar card, Voter ID, or Passport (any one).
• Immunisation card, up to date.
• Mother's discharge certificate from the hospital of birth.
• Medical fitness certificate, including the certifying doctor's license or registration number.
• Legal dispute documentation (if applicable) — relevant court orders.
• Single-parent documentation (if applicable) — proof of an irrevocable separation with no remarriage, or a deceased parent, supported by an affidavit.
• Affidavit for School Admission — to be printed on non-judicial stamp paper and attested by a 1st class Magistrate. Download format
